Landscapes!

I've had an urge to paint landscapes lately. Strictly rural - no streets, no sidewalks.

When I travel to visit the in-laws, I pass this way going north through Grimes County on the way to Anderson, Texas. I call it North of the Coastal Plains. It's 40" x 30" acrylic on canvas. My husband Bryan has encouraged me to paint more landscapes and I have some planned.

Landscapes aren't all I've been doing. I've been working as a graphic designer for more years than I can count on my fingers and toes. One of my projects recently was to design a book - inside and out. Speaking of Bryan, I designed his book.

Bryan wrote a book. A novel. I designed it from cover to cover, using one of my photos on the cover. I say it's a page-turner. So far I'm not the only one that really enjoyed reading it.
